The practice
Onyx Staffing spent years placing technology, product, HR, finance, and operations talent for start-ups and established companies. The craft stays. The focus is now physical AI — robotics software, perception, autonomy, controls, and the applied scientists sitting next to them.
We still run custom, end-to-end recruiting. We still mix classic sourcing with modern tools. We refuse to treat a Staff robotics engineer and a generic backend hire as the same product. We work wherever robots are being built — warehouse automation, medtech, humanoids, industrial, and defense-adjacent programs.
Leadership
Nearly 25 years of agency and corporate recruiting. Jeff has led teams domestically and internationally — Hong Kong, London, Sydney, and the United States — and has sat on both sides of the requisition.
When he is not recruiting, he is playing golf, training, traveling, or watching the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
